The International Black Women’s Public Policy Institute (IBWPPI) is seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join its staff as a Communications and Marketing Associate and Membership Associate. The Communications and Marketing Associate and Membership Associate will be responsible for working with staff and the board of directors to increase participation and improve IBWPPI’s presence globally. Our Mission is to work in the US and internationally to convene hearings and discussions to evaluate the impact of current public policies and to initiate new policies that address the major threats to the well-being of Black women and our families.

Increase membership involvement
Monitor membership database
Develop membership engagement strategies
Skills and Qualifications
- Hours; 4-5 hours a week: Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Strong oral, written, and organizational skills
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, and other administrative experience
While this is an unpaid position, a monthly ground travel stipend, expense allowance, and meal stipend provided throughout the duration of the internship.
